There are three different levels of GM-SYS (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced). The higher levels essentially allow higher numbers of stations, blocks, points and surfaces as well as having more features.
Basic:
- Provides simultaneous gravity and magnetic modeling in two dimensions, with up to 125 blocks and 1000 gravity stations.
Advanced
- Calculate and display gravity and magnetic gradients, calculate the response of a 2 3/4-D model as a Geosoft grid, and models can include up to 16, 000 points and 300 blocks. Advanced also includes the SEG-Y Reader, which can convert a 2-D SEG-Y file directly into a backdrop image projected directly onto your GM-SYS model cross-section.
