Symptom:
In previous versions I was able to go to Data Services > Upload to Portal, or Data Services > Central Portal. These options are now greyed out or not present at all.
Information:
As of December 2020, you are no longer able to use this functionality. Seequent View became incompatible with Oasis montaj during updates across our software at the time of releasing Oasis montaj 9.9. Even if the link is present in an older version of Oasis montaj, it will be greyed out or fail.
Root Cause:
As Seequent View is a free complimentary tool, development were not able to commit resources to resolving this compatibility issue. The decision was made to remove the now unusable link between Oasis montaj and View in the 9.9 release. However, the compatibility issue impacts all historic versions of our software as well. This means that in older versions of our software, the functionality will now be greyed out or fail.
Note:
This decision was driven by the intent to retire Seequent View in the near future. As of December 2020 there are plans to work on developing a different web visualization tool.
