How to convert a Geosoft grid (*.grd) into a GXF file.

Objective:

I have a Geosoft grid (*.grd) I would like to convert into a GXF file so it can be opened in other software packages.

Resolution:

1. Go to Grid and Image menu and select Utilities and then Copy/Convert
2. For the Input Grid File select your Geosoft grid
3. Give the Output Grid File a new name and press the browse button
4. Use the Save as Type drop-down list and select either GXF Compressed (*.gxf) or GXF Text (*.gxf)

Notes:

Geosoft applications only supports grids that have a KX (sense) of (+/-) 1.
