How to edit the attributes of a vector group in the View/Group Manager

Objective

I would like to edit the display attributes of a vector group (points, lines and polygons) on my map. 

Resolution

  1. Select the group in the View/Group Manager Tool and click Edit.
    This will draw a selection box around the selected group and the group is now in Editing mode. 
  2. At this point you can select individual or multiple objects from the selected group using one of three methods:
    • Select individual objects by left-clicking them.
      NOTE: holding down shift does not allow you to multi-select.  
    • Select multiple objects at once by drawing a selection box around them.
    • Select all objects by right-clicking the selection box and clicking Select All.
  3. Right-click the selection box and click Line, Text or Symbol Attributes depending on what you're editing. 
  4. Edit the vector group as desired and click OK button to return to the map. 
  5. To exist Editing mode press Esc on the keyboard.
