Occurrence:
When submitting a VOXI inversion I get the following message:
Unable to run model
An error occurred while attempting to validate your VOXI job, please try again. If this problem recurs, contact Geosoft Support.
Error: Authorization has been denied for this request.
Resolution:
- Close Oasis montaj.
- Right-click on the Seequent Connector icon in the system tray and select Exit.
- Launch Oasis montaj.
- Sign In with your Seequent ID.
- Open your VOXI project and try to run the inversion again.
- If the above steps does not work, try to restart your computer after exiting Geosoft Connect again.
If the above steps does not work try the following:
- Close Oasis montaj.
- Go to Control Panel> Programs and features, right-click on Seequent Connector and select uninstall.
- Delete the following folders:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Geosoft\Geosoft Connect Settings
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Geosoft_Inc\Geosoft Connect - Download and install the new version of Seequent Connecter from the following link:
https://downloads.seequent.com/Geosoft/SeequentConnector.zip - Launch Oasis montaj.
- Sign In with your Seequent ID.
- Open your VOXI project and try to run the inversion again.
If the above steps does not work perform the following:
- Go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Geosoft\Geosoft Connect Settings
- Copy any .log file and send it to support@seequent.com for further investigation.
- Please indicate in your email the issue you are encountering and the steps you have taken.
Root Cause
Due to the intermittent nature of this issue it is currently unknown as to the cause of the issue. Though, performing the steps above can resolve the issue.
