Occurrence:
While working in or launching my Geosoft Product I encountered one of the following errors:
“Subscription Error:
The Cached subscription has been modified on disk and is no longer valid.”
“Geosoft License Manager:
The system is not licensed. Click OK to view your subscriptions in My Geosoft.”
“Geosoft License Manager:
A subscription could not be found. Save your work as the application will close shortly.
The subscription for this product may need to be refreshed or renewed. Save and close the application, then Refresh Subscriptions using Geosoft Connect, or contact Geosoft to renew your subscription”
Resolution:
Reset the password associated with your Seequent ID:
- Go to id.seequent.com/forgot
- Enter your email address (the one used for Geosoft ID) and click reset
- Go to your email and follow the instructions to reset your password
Update Seequent Connecter:
- Download the least version here: https://downloads.seequent.com/Geosoft/SeequentConnector.zip
- Install by double-clicking the *.exe
- Launch your Geosoft Product and sign in with your Seequent ID
Root Cause
As of October 6, 2019, all Geosoft IDs were migrated to Seequent IDs. All users are required to reset their passwords to active their Seequent ID.
