Offline usage tips when working remotely.

Since the release of Oasis montaj 9.0, back in Aug 2016, we have required users to sign in with their Geosoft ID (now Seequent ID) when launching the application. 

If you are going to be working in a remote location with no internet there are steps you can take to ensure you have consistent access to your application.

1. Before leaving to your remote camp, be sure to sign into Seequent Connector. This can be done by launching the application and signing in with your Seequent ID, or locating the Seequent Connector icon in the system tray, right-clicking it and selecting Sign-In.
2. Once you have signed in you'll remain signed in even if the application is closed. You can verify if you're signed in at any time by hovering over the Seequent Connector icon in the system tray. 
3. When signed, closing the application, and disconnecting from the internet will place you in Offline Mode. While in Offline Mode, you have 90 days of offline usage before you will be asked to sign back in. If you remain signed into Seequent Connector while in Offline Mode you shouldn’t have any issues launching the application at your remote camp.

However, if you're in Offline Mode and your PC connects to the internet, for any reason, even if you're not using a Geosoft application, you will be taken out of Offline Mode and you'll be asked to sign back in the next time you launch the application.  Something to be aware of in case your computer will be going online and offline through out your stay at the remote camp.
