Occurrence:
After upgrading Leapfrog Geo I get the following error message when opening a project.
Error: “The project store needs to be upgraded”.
This message is expected as you need to update your project after updating Leapfrog Geo. In some cases the message might pop up repeatedly every time you launch the Leapfrog Geo.
Resolution:
The easiest way to get around this will be to try the following steps, please note that the following process will require the project to be downloaded again.
- Open Geo and from the main menu dropdown, please navigate to: Settings>Central
- Under Project files, you will see a Location label with a file path
- Navigate to that file path and create a new folder
- Now in geo update the location path to point to the new folder
- All going well, you should now be able to download and upgrade your project successfully
